~ Autumn Fun ~

Every year, our family is privileged to enjoy a wonderful time with some close Amish Friends. We always have a very enjoyable time with them. They have such a heart for the Lord. They are very Humble and a wonderful family. I thought I would share some of our time with them!

I had a wonderful time. I LOVE horseback riding. I wish that the stirrups were adjusted so that I could ride him better. We took off toward the pasture. I was letting him gallop, but realized I was going to fall off as the stirrups were way too llllong! I was talking to the beautiful fellow. I have this tendency to click my tongue when I am talking with animals. Well, that is not what you do with horses! Poor thing was so confused, I would do that and he would take off. I would realize what I had done and had to slow him back down. It was perfect. Nice crisp air, an open meadow, and the sun setting!

We had such a wonderful time! We are trusting that the Lord will bless this family that blesses us!

~ The Cider Mill with Family ~

On our way home from MI, we stopped by a Cider Mill with Jeremy's cousin Cameron and His family. We had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed our time with them. We will miss them very much as they return to Singapore. 

Ahhh the pleasures of Fall!!! The crisp, fresh cool air, apples and time spent with family!

~ A Glimpse of Our Holiday Weekend ~

Okay...so it is better late than never?!? Right? We have been so busy. For Labor Day weekend. We spent it in Michigan. Jeremy's cousin, Deanna, was getting married. Emily was one of the flower girls. She cracked me up. Everyone got a good laugh!! See what you think!!!!

When she ran back, she was yelling, "Mommy, I did it!!!" I told her that she was suppose to go to Daddy at the front....So, as you see she made her way to Daddy!!! Too Cute!

~ Home Sweet Home ~

It is such a blessing to have a Home! I appreciate so much being able to return to a home and just feeling relaxed!!! The kids and I returned Friday afternoon. Daddy had to be to work at Noon. He was going to be busy the rest of the day and the kids wouldn't really have a chance to see him or play with him. So, Daddy and I decided it would be best to head home Friday. It was a beautiful drive. The kids were really good! We stopped along the way at a Rest Area to have a little picnic! We had one more stop along the way! Once we arrived in Erie, we went to my parents for dinner. We arrived home about 7:30! It was so nice to be home. I am so tired of packing....Packing as in the whole house kind of packing! I brought everything in and collapsed!!! 

Saturday morning, I enjoyed my front porch with a cup of coffee and chatting children! Then, I cleaned the fridge, did laundry, unpacked some more, ran to a couple of stores, picked up groceries, got the kids in for a nap, did some more settling things. Finally got a call from Daddy around 3:30...it was almost time to pick him up! I woke the kids from their naps and headed out the door. I packed up the car while Daddy finished work (the sad thing is...I couldn't fit all of the totes in the car..thankfully I don't need anything from them!). We all are home safe and sound! The Lord was good and gave all of us traveling mercies. Now we have a week off as a family. We will cherish every moment!

Things that we missed while we were gone:

Andrew missed his playroom.

Mommy missed her front porch and her own home!

Emmy...well, I don't know that she even knows what she missed!

Daddy missed just having a day off!!!!

Of course, we all missed our family/friends and church family here!

~ A Movie In the Park ~

After a day at the pool, I was looking for something to do with the kids later that evening. Jeremy had to go to a banquet and wouldn't be home until late. I found out that they were doing something in the park. No, it wasn't an orchestra, but it was a movie. I headed over with the kids about 7:45pm. It was going to be a late night, but I figure it's ok to go out of the routine once in awhile!

Emily was rolling down the little hill and just enjoying herself! She fell asleep once the movie started and her snack was finished :0) I couldn't blame her. I decided to take them to the pool during nap time!!!!

It was nice for something different to do. The movie was stupid, but I guess you can't be picky when it is free and something different. Andrew said that he like going to watch the movie in the park..."What Movie did we watch, Mommy!!!" LOL....

~ Another Place- Another Week ~

We had yet another home!

It was nice being that the place was so clean. I was so grateful. I didn't feel that I had to sanitize the kids' feet every night! (Thank you Penn College!)

It was a little farther from "things to do". We had quite a bit of rain limiting what we were able to do outside.
We tried to enjoy the outdoors as much as we could! The campus was so nice!
