~ Visits from Friends ~

Saturday, we had a wonderful visit from some friends that we haven't seen in a few months. Dinner...well, it was a little loud with our husbands talking above the crowd...How embarrasing. Makes one want to crawl under the table. Then, a daughter who is over tired adding to the noise....I was very happy to be outside where noise didn't matter! We went for a nice walk, and had a very enjoyable time!

Note to us...place the husbands next to each other :0)

~ Laundry Time ~

Of course there is laundry to do wherever you go, but I am very thankful for a very nice facility in the apartment complex that we are at!!!!

I also am thankful for a cool place to have some fun with the kids while the Laundry is going!

Emmy and Andrew playing with the Princess ball. This room is where I stood to take the picture of the Laundry room!! Very convenient!!!

Andrew giving the rules for the next game!!!

We played some dodge ball!

Andrew was way too good at Dodge Ball!
We played one bounce, two bounce, jump the water (all of the white was the water!), soccer, One hit, two hit...and anything else that Andrew made up!!! We had a lot of laughs and it helped to pass the time :0)

More posts to come!!!!

~ A nice walk ~

Last night, Jeremy had to work from 3-11pm....It can make for a very long evening. So, we make the most of it and just try to keep busy. The kids and I went for a walk after dinner. We first stopped at the playground:

Emmy swinging away!

We then continued on. I wanted to see if there was a schedule around for an orchestra or something in the park. I never found one :0( I want to go watch a live orchestra. A couple of years ago, the kids and I had the pleasure of listening to a live orchestra do the 1812 Oveture. It was breathe taking. They even had a few live cannon fires. It was a amazing. Hopefully, I can research online or something and find a schedule!

Did I mention, I love LIVE Orchestras?!?
It's empty :0(

I love trees, their green leaves, the different barks, all of the life that is in them, and the shade that they provide!

There are so many gray squirrels around here. It is fun to watch them!

Or chasing them!!! Below is the reason that I couldn't get a picture of this little guy!!!

It was very funny! Andrew would go around the side of the tree, and the squirrel would come around to my side by the bottom. Andrew would run around the tree and the little guy would fly up to the branches. They "played" with each other for quite some time! It was so cute! Andrew had a great time! He saw a few other squirrels. He saw a smaller one. He said, "Awwww that must be a baby and a Mama!!". Once he saw another one, he decided it had to be a family...of 4!!!!

We came home. I made them peanutbutter chocolate milkshakes. Time for showers. Then, off to bed they went!!!!

It was a beautiful walk!

~ Activities Away~

There is a very nice park not too far from the apartment. The park has a pool, playground, a lot of beautiful trees, Tennis courts and at least three baseball fields.

There was a little league baseball game.

Andrew wanted to take pictures!!

He did a pretty good job with this one...Thankfully, there was shade!

LOL...Andrew liked the Orange Team. He saw this lady and was like...I want a picture of her shirt...*click* In the background, you can see one of the other fields.

Chilling in the grass!!!!
Stop back tomorrow for another glimpse of our activities!!!

~ Arrived Safely! ~

We arrived safely at our destination!!!! We all had a wonderful time with family this past weekend. It was amazing! I got to spend some time with my cousins that I hadn't seen in about 8 years! We had many laughs and good memories made!!!! I will have to share a picture of us at some other time :0( I forgot my camera...so I will be waiting for her to send me the pics!!!

Now that we are here, I do have some extra time. So, I will try to update a little at a time while here.

I thought I would try to share a little of our activities every day. If I post pictures from one day, you might see what we do here and be bored. So, I will try to post something that keeps us entertained while we are at our other house!!! Hope that you enjoy!

I picked up a couple of paint with water coloring books from OLLIES!!!! It has been great! The kids love it. Emily has a little difficulty not putting holes in the paper as she continues to pain the same spot over and over, but hey! It keeps her busy, and she has fun!

Emily paining her first work of art! Piglet no longer had a nose at the end of the painting session!

Andrew hard at work with his piece of art!

I love his little tongue as he is really concentrating on what he is doing!

Enjoy!

~ Arrived Safely ~

Singles & Youth cookout!

I love campfires!!! The coals glistening, the logs flaming up, the warmth....to me it is so relaxing!!!

Just haning out!

~ Busy, Busy Dreadfully Busy ~

So sorry, I have slacked very much in keeping those of you following us Konnected!!! Life has been super busy. Jeremy works out of town for about 5 weeks in the summer. He left Wednesday :0( I am working on getting the kids and myself ready to go now. Preparation has seemed too easy. I feel like I have forgotten things. I guess we will see if the third time is the charm and it is easier, or if I really forgot half the house....We stay in a college apartment for the best part of summer. I really have to pack a kitchen, bathroom, kids toys, entertainment, bedroom sets, etc. It is a big task. This year, I started making a list on the computer a few months ago. I am hoping that is why it appeared to take me less time to pack all of us. It is amazing to me how much less we can live with. I have taken a three drawer tote with things for the kids to do. One drawer has Little People, Play food and a tea set. The second drawer has coloring books, kids craft supplies (paint, scissors, construction paper, sidewalk chalk) The last drawer is filled with books to read and musical instruments!!!! I will pack some cars for Andrew. Dolls for Emmy, and I will take both of their leapsters. We have a TV, play ground, and hopefully the pool will be open. The kids usually have a very nice time. I am pretty much ready. I have to pack a few last minute things.
I was hoping to hit the beach one last time before we left, but it is a little on the cloudy side. So, I guess that they can enjoy their last day at home :0)
So, if you would please pray for us for traveling mercies and a good time away from  home. I would really appreciate it.
I will work on updating my blog while we are there. I have more free time there!!!!
