Every Tuesday, Andrew, Emmy, Mommy and Nana pack up and head off to the Library. Andrew loves going to story time. The number of kids varies from week to week, but I think it is important for him to have some social activities! He listens to a few stories, watches a movie, and then does a craft. He loves reading and doing crafts, so, this is perfect for us!
After Story Time, we look for some books, and then we settle ourselves in one of the chairs looking out over the bay. The Niagara is the ship that you see in the background!
This picture cracks me up. The teacher had them doing different actions and noises for animals. They were being lions. I think it was a little loud for the little girl sitting next to him! She has her ears covered! Poor thing! He was enjoying himself!

ReplyDeleteAw! The library is such a fantastic resource, isn't it? We're there at least two or three times a week. We usually go to the Millcreek Mall one though, since it's on our way to and from school. But we try to hit Blasco at least once a month, usually on a Sunday afternoon.
ReplyDeleteWe're too big for story time this year now that everyone's in school during that time, but it's such a great program. I'm so glad Andrew and Emmy enjoy it!
